OUR HISTORY

Mohawk Valley Wrestling is the oldest wrestling club in the northeast and one of the oldest in the continental United States.  Our Club was founded with one goal in mind, to promote wrestling in a fun, safe, and competitive manner.  Since our inception in 1982, we have trained over 3,700 wrestlers and have competed in 15 countries worldwide. Specializing in Freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling, the club competes both continentally and internationally every year. From hosting the Mohawk Valley International Wrestling Festival to boasting a strong lineup of accredited coaches, we provide some of the best year-round training and exposure in Central New York.
