Mohawk Valley hosts events primarily between March and September. All events listed here are hosted by Mohawk Valley Wrestling Club and are organized to raise funds that help provide training opportunities, equipment, and resources for our wrestlers.

Get ready for one of the most exciting and unique wrestling experiences of the summer. The New York Beach Wrestling Championships combines fast-paced competition with a relaxed, high-energy beach atmosphere that athletes and spectators love.
Schedule:
• Last-minute registration & check-in: 10:00 AM – 10:30 AM
• Rules Clinic: 10:40 AM
• Wrestling begins: 11:00 AM
Divisions (Boys & Girls):
• Elementary A (3rd & 4th Grade)
• Elementary B (5th & 6th Grade)
• Middle School
• High School
• Open Division (18+)
Awards: for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each division.
Registration Info:
Spots are limited to 150 athletes. Registration will automatically close once capacity is reached—no exceptions.
What is Beach Wrestling?
Beach wrestling is simple, fast, and exciting. Matches are short and action-packed—score by taking your opponent to the ground or forcing them out of the circle. The first wrestler to 3 points wins.
The Atmosphere:
This isn’t your typical tournament. The vibe is relaxed but competitive. Between matches, athletes and families hang out, enjoy the music, play beach games, and take in the water—then step into the circle ready to compete.
