Building Champions Since 1981

For more than four decades, Mohawk Valley Wrestling Club has been developing wrestlers, building confidence, and strengthening our community.

Established in 1981, we are proud to be the oldest wrestling club in New York State and the second-oldest wrestling club in the United States—a tradition of excellence that continues today.

As a USA Wrestling-sanctioned international wrestling club, we provide year-round training in Folkstyle, Freestyle, and Greco-Roman wrestling for boys and girls of all ages and experience levels. Whether your athlete is stepping onto the mat for the very first time or preparing to compete at the highest levels, our experienced volunteer coaches are committed to helping every wrestler reach their full potential.

Our athletes don't just train—they compete. Throughout the year, Mohawk Valley Wrestling Club hosts tournaments, attends local, state, regional, and national competitions, and travels together as a team, creating opportunities for wrestlers to challenge themselves while building lifelong friendships and unforgettable memories.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, our club is powered entirely by dedicated volunteers who are passionate about growing the sport of wrestling and providing opportunities for every athlete to succeed.

At Mohawk Valley Wrestling Club, we believe wrestling teaches more than takedowns—it builds discipline, resilience, confidence, respect, and character that last long after the final whistle.

Whether you're chasing championships or simply looking for a place to belong, there's a spot for you on our mat. Join the tradition. Join the family.
